Longs Peak As The Weather Turns

Time lapse view of the Colorado Twin Peaks, Mount Meeker 13,911 and Longs Peak 14,256 as the weather swirls around the Rocky Mountains.

This was shot from McIntosh Lake, one of my favorite places in Longmont Colorado.  The visibility from Longs Peak can extend more than 200 miles on a clear day.

Longs Peak is the only 14er in Rocky Mountain National Park and one of the 53 Mountain peaks over 14k in the state.

Hope you enjoy the time lapse views as the clouds look like ocean waves over the mountains.
