Snowy Autumn

Always very beautiful when the first autumn snow of the season falls and the leaves on the trees are still showing their color.

Check out this scenic colorful morning walking view at McIntosh Lake Park in Longmont Colorado, Boulder County.

The road is inviting as the golden colors blend.

The very dry western climate and abundance of sunshine makes snow very enjoyable in Colorado. It always amazes me all the people that wear shorts all year round here.

One of our big events when I was younger was always “A -Basin In May” skiing and beach party in shorts above 10,000 feet and sometimes warm enough to go shirtless.

You get a lot of sun in the snow with the reflections so you have to be careful and wear sunscreen.

You can sit in the sun in a tee-shirt and if you move into the shade you would have to put your coat on. Pretty amazing.
